From September 26 to February 3 2019, Casa dei Carraresi in Treviso will host the exhibition “Titian to Van Dyck. A portrait of the XVI century” dedicated to the Venetian art of the XVI century.
Hosted by the Cassamarca Foundation, the exhibition is organized by ARTIKA and is curated by Ettore Merkel.
“Titian to Van Dyck. A portrait of the XVI century” gleaned from one of the major collection of the Veneto, the one created since the post-war period by Giuseppe Alessandra.
The paintings propose a charming route from Renaissance to Mannerism almost Baroque.
